About The Rutland Marquee Company...
The Rutland Marquee Company is owned and run by us, husband and wife, Tom and Hannah Dodson. We were both raised in Rutland, and we now now live in North Luffenham with our little girl.
We are both passionate about helping people to organise events and want each of our many customers to be completely satisfied with the service that we provide. When we were planning our own wedding we encountered a number of venues which were incredibly inflexible, with very rigid price packages which didn't always fit with our requirements. In some cases, our wedding would have been one of many receptions at the same venue, on the same day and we wanted our wedding to feel unique, not just part of a conveyer belt.
Because of that we want each and every one of our clients, regardless of the occasion or size of their event, to know and feel that their booking is special to us and that all aspects of planning are being properly taken care of.

Hannah brings brilliant organisational skills and a flair for the creative to the team. But most importantly, Hannah is passionate about parties and this makes The Rutland Marquee Company a great partner for your event.
Before managing the marquee company, Hannah worked as an Interior Designer and has a degree in Art and English Literature.

After completing three years at Brooksby Agricultural College, specialising in farm management, Tom went on to work at a Sailing Club as part of the Boatswain Team, before taking on board running The Rutland Marquee Company.

We are very proud here at The Rutland Marquee Company to have a wonderful team who, along with Tom, help install each marquee for all our various events.

Dave has worked for The Rutland Marquee Company for four years and when he’s not building marquees he is busy actually building!
Will
Will began working for The Rutland Marquee Company three years ago and is also studying law at university.
George
This is George’s first summer putting up marquees, but so far he is really enjoying the great outdoors!
