Manton Village Wedding, Rutland

As an alternative to the full linings, we simply installed several alternating ivory ceiling sashes and strings of sage and ivory paper lanterns, throughout the ceiling space at Manton Village Hall, to add a touch of decoration, but keep the space as open and airy as possible.

Deene Park Wedding, Northamptonshire

This winter wedding marquee was themed throughout with a variety of lighting effects to add a touch of sparkle for the bride and groom, from fairy lights, Christmas trees, LED church pillar candles, LED trees, and a dramatic black star cloth seating area.

Tixover Wedding, Rutland

An exceptionally pretty selection of different decorations were used in these three marquees. Comprising of delicate lilac and sage ceiling ribbons in a 9m bar area, lilac ceiling sashes and bunting in a 12m seating area, and lilac, purple and sage paper lanterns throughout the ceiling space of the 9m dance area. The marquees were then transformed again in the evening by a clever use of fairy lights, festoon lights, and coloured LED uplighters.

Barrowden Wedding, Rutland

Set in the heart of the village, overlooking the Church, this marquee was decorated with lots of delicate finishing touches, including these pretty butterflies and matching bunting.

Oundle birthday party, Cambridgeshire

The colours of this birthday party was intended to 'wow' the guests and we were only too happy to help, providing paper lanterns and ceiling sashes, in their choice of colours to really make the marquee 'pop'.

Witham School Hall, Lincolnshire

What can we say? This picture perfect setting used our 9m marquee with hex ends and peaked entrance for a grand, yet intimate wedding celebration.

Elm, Rutland

Set in the clients own garden, this marquee was constructed around and incorporating some of the garden features, including some pretty big trees, which were wrapped in fairy lights and illuminated with our coloured LED uplighters, to create a feature out of them, both during the daytime, and the evening reception.

Braunston Village Hall, Rutland

This pretty little village hall was decorated throughout with fairy lights, little pink lanterns, bunting, round dining tables and finished off with our beautiful wooden chairs.

Overlooking Rutland Water, our marquee offered a beautiful space in which to enjoy the stunning scenery. With seating areas outside the marquee and window walls throughout the structure, guests were able to take in the views inside and outside.

Scraptoft Hill Farm was the setting for this gorgeous summer wedding. The marquee was surrounded by beautiful fields so the decoration inside the marquee was kept quite simple with these bright purple lanterns throughout the ceiling space.

This wedding was an opulent gold and navy two-day celebration in the beautiful setting of the Ladywood Estate in Knossington, complete with pleated ivory linings, gold ceiling sashes, fairy lights, and navy table linen.

Bisbrooke Hall Estate, Rutland

This wedding couple wanted to inject a little fun and frivolity in to their reception, by incorporating as many village fete style elements as possible. The estate grounds at Bisbrooke Hall were filled with outdoor games, including a coconut shy, and the interior of the marquee was decorated with a colourful bunting, long trestle style seating, a photo both area and the finishing touch was this quirky gin bar.

There isn't much more that can be done to adorn the stunning Capability Brown architecture and rose garden at Burghley House in Stamford, but to extend the covered accommodation for this wedding party our peaked top marquee looked absolutely perfect.

The village hall in South Luffenham was transformed into a wedding reception venue by filling the ceiling space with pretty lights and paper lanterns, covering over the existing curtains with our pleated ivory linings, and seating guests on our round dining tables and lime-wash bamboo chairs.

Uppingham School, Rutland

Our 12m peak top marquee comfortably hosted 500 guests at the annual Leaver's Ball. We worked closely with the committee to ensure that their ideas and colour scheme were incorporated into the space. A long wall of windows and doors ensured a perfect view of the fireworks in the evening.

Our black starcloth lined ceiling set a sparkling scene for this birthday village hall party. The entire hall was lined with this beautiful fabric inset with tiny twinkling LED lights. Blue uplighters finished off the 'evening sky' effect perfectly.

Wymondham Village Hall - Wedding

We transformed Wymondham Village Hall for the day by lining the entire space with ivory fabric, which created the effect of stepping into one of our marquees. The roof space was filled with white fairy lights, the floor carpeted and the room filled with beautiful furniture. The wedding guests expecting a plain village hall reception were wowed at the stunning final effect and the village had never seen it's hall looking so elegant.

This was yet another English countryside inspired reception, with champagne coloured carpet, lime-washed chairs, lilac sashes in the ceilings and pretty wildflower table arrangements.

A simple, light and airy marquee by day, complete with gold gilt chairs and some rather quirky floral arrangements, was transformed in the evening by the 'reveal' curtain, which had been concealing the black star cloth lit dance floor area in the other half of the marquee.

Sibertoft Marquee - 18th Birthday Party

Vintage records were hung along the walls of this marquee to provide a rather alternative form of decoration for this 18th birthday party. The main marquee provided seating on trestle tables for 170 guests and a dance area, with an entrance marquee for arrivals drinks and a recess bar marquee and soft seating for relaxing in.

For this special celebration we transformed a stone-barn at our clients' property to provide a stunning venue for their party guests, complete with dancefloor, carpeted flooring, lighting effects and soft seating areas

Brooke Marquee - Water Aid Charity Event

For this Water Aid charity luncheon a blue colour scheme was required. Pale ivory linings, tables cloths and lime-wash chairs were then decorated with blue carpet, ceiling sashes, table slip cloths and napkin ribbons to give the clients their desired look.

Winding through the garden, guests then found themselves in an elegant, ivory lined wedding breakfast marquee, embellished with simple and fresh design touches, just perfect for this country garden wedding.

Glaston Marquee - Wedding

This truly stunning marquee location was hired by The Rutland Marquee Company to provide the perfect backdrop for the bride and groom and their guests as they celebrated together.
As guests arrived at the estate, the driveway swept through the perfectly manicured grounds to reveal the marquee set alongside the beautiful country home. Within the marquee, the bride and groom had opted for a simple and light colour scheme, while the window walls worked to keep plenty of sunlight flooding into the marquee and also allow views of the beautiful grounds outside.

Burley Marquee - The Rutland Show

As well as many of our marquees being hired by local businesses for The Rutland Show, we also had our own exhibition to show customers some of our decorative items available for hire. There were sofas, lighting, chair options, and a dressed 5' round table for eight guests, complete with table linen, china, cutlery, glassware and wedding favours.

Greatford Marquee - Wedding

  • A beautiful summer wedding marquee on the village green at Greatford, Stamford with a very pretty, natural colour scheme. We used stone coloured carpet, natural wood chairs and ivory seat pads, white paper lanterns and bunting, all finished off with the sweet hedgerow flowers collected by the brides mother the morning of the wedding in little metal pails.

    Tugby Marquee - Wedding

    This elegant wedding marquee comprised of ivory linings, round tables with gold chairs and staging for the live band the couple had booked for the evening entertainment. Each table was named after one of the Bride and Groom's pets and the decorations on each table were simple ivory floral arrangements and lots of chocolate truffles!

    Rothley Marquee - Birthday Party

    For a Hollywood-themed 18th birthday party, this dramatic marquee was fully lined with our black star cloth linings and custom red swags, plus solid wooden floor throughout. The following year the client opted for the same marquee again, but this time with aqua ceiling swags and a red carpet. Both marquees also had 'chill-out' areas, with sofas and coffee tables and smaller marquees attached with tables and chairs for dining.

    Wothorpe Marquee - 50th Birthday Party

    This stunning marquee in Wothorpe, Stamford, was adorned with white LED fairy lights to give a dramatic effect as the party guests arrived in the evening. Flood lights were used at the far end to illuminate the entrance to the marquee for a great visual impact. Inside, wrought iron chandeliers and a laser light system set off the gold gilt chairs and 6ft round tables atop a burgundy carpet. Emergency exit panels were constantly visible, and the floodlights ensured safety and ease of access .

    Barrow Marquee - 21st Birthday Party

    A very pretty ivory lined marquee with wrought iron chandeliers. Our client completed the look by choosing ivory table cloths with pink overlays and napkins. Specific chairs were brought in by request for this January birthday party – and yes, we put the marquee up in the snow. It was beautiful.

    Empingham Marquee - Wedding

    One of the more colourful Weddings that we have provided, the bride and groom selected stone coloured carpet and natural wooden chairs with ivory seat pads as a base for their bright colour scheme, then each table cloth was topped with a different, brightly coloured overlay, ribbons, coloured place settings and then scattered with pick and mix sweets. Our white round paper lanterns were accompanied by a variety of different coloured paper lanterns, all suspended from the ivory ceiling drapes to complete the look, which you can see on the animation on our front-page.

    Belmesthorpe Marquee - Wedding

    This marquee, set up in Belmsthorpe, Stamford was 9m x 26m (six sections and two hex ends) and seated 176 guests. The Bride’s father sent us this photograph – and we were touched by how delighted he was with what we provided for his daughter. The couple chose a really natural colour scheme which complemented the gorgeous country setting perfectly. Window wall panels replaced some of the solid walls to allow the sunlight to flood into the marquee and keep the space feeling light and airy. As it was a beautiful summers day, wooden picnic benches were placed in the grounds around the marquee to allow the wedding guests to enjoy the the weather.

    Whitwell Marquee - Wedding

    A truly gorgeous black and white themed marquee for a wedding reception at Whitwell Hotel and Conference Centre, Rutland. The bride and groom chose black carpet, ivory linings, black wrought iron chandeliers, and ivory table cloths, chair covers and black sashes. Very elegant and stylish. We provided our exclusive hexagonal top-table which you can read more about on our services page.

    Braunston Village Hall - Wedding

    A magnificent Christmas wedding, with mistletoe hanging from wrought iron chandeliers, and the hall decked on all walls and the ceiling with ivory linings. Seating 64 guests in total. Read more about village hall linings on our services page here.
